Over the years, I’ve managed to acquire many programs and films that Maura Tierney has appeared in, and while I strongly urge everyone to purchase DVDs (or legitimate digital downloads, as the case may be) of works that are available, there are some that were never released on home video or DVD, and remain rare finds in viewers’ personal collections.  I’ve posted a clip to YouTube of Maura in the sitcom The Van Dyke Show (1988), one of her very first on-camera roles, in which she played Jillian, one of the employees at the small town theatre run by Matt Burgess (Barry Van Dyke).  Dick Van Dyke also starred on the show, playing his real-life son Barry’s actor father.  See the clip below.
